About

Stephanie Paige Thomson (b. 1997) is known not only for her painterly style but also for her unconventional manner of training. Rather than entering a traditional school, she spent four years traveling the country learning through intense, short-term workshops with today’s living masters. Along the way, Stephanie’s career started to bloom and by the time she had finished her four year, self made workshop program, she had already received numerous awards, sold most of her work, and been featured in magazines such as Southwest Art and the International Artist.

No matter who Stephanie studied with, their message was the same. Working from life is the most important pursuit an artist can undertake in order to accelerate growth and reach their full potential. Finding a life drawing group with suitable lighting and a wide pool of models proved difficult, so instead Stephanie started her own. Now, she is taking this group global with Broadcasting Brushers.

Stephanie firmly believes that great artists rise together, just look at history. Whether it was through letters or time spent together, the great artists of the past shared their insights and struggles with each other, reaching new heights. The same goes for today’s living masters.

Broadcasting Brushers empowers representational artists by deepening their understanding of painting principles, reducing creative barriers, and providing a supportive community so artists across the globe can confidently bring their artistic vision to life. Working from life is integral to any artists’ creative practice, whether they are a brand new or seasoned painter. All levels, mediums, and styles are welcomed and encouraged in the Broadcasting Brushers community, and we can’t wait to paint with you soon!
